Stopped at FARA for breakfast when passing through the area. Oh man, what a treat! Phenomenal flavours, (dog) friendly laid back service with a nice chilled dubby playlist in the background. If I’m ever in the area again I will certainly be back for some more Turkish Eggs.

I have been to FARA several times now, and my love affair with their Turkish eggs grows ever stronger. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting. I love how light and airy it is, and the decor is very tasteful. Whenever me and my partner come in, the people working always give us a friendly 'Hello!', which makes it seem so much more inviting. I really appreciate their effort to make everyone feel at home. I brought my family and we all enjoyed our lunch. My grandfather has a citrus allergy, which the staff were brilliant in accommodating for. I had a seasonal slushie; I wish I could have them on tap. I wasn't able to take photos of the food because we couldn't stop ourselves from eating, it was just too good.

Saturday afternoon, just after 13.30, and the place is packed. Well, it should be to be honest. All the tables are full of bustle, and the waiting window stools are full of those hopefuls next to occupy and taste the delights of Fara! We didn't have to wait long, but we didn't even get to sample the window stools before being shown to a table. I have to say, there is a definite feel of Brighton here. That kind of bohemian laid back like it or leave it. It's a kind of likeable, fun arrogance. The menu is small, but I like that. It means the kitchen can really focus on the ingredients, what goes on the plates, and goodness me. What goes on the plates is so so good, delicious, and done very well. We ordered tea. Earl Grey for me, and builders tea for my girlfriend (her words not mine ). At the same time of going up and ordering our teas, we order our food. We ordered the Turkish Eggs and the Shakshuka. A 35-minute wait was advised, but hey, this is real food, and the place was packed. No big deal. Our teas arrived in glass tea kind of cafetieres on these wooden boards. I love a cuppa, and Earl Grey is a comfort for me. Not the best I have to say, even after leaving it for the recommend few minutes, it was still, well, boring. The builders tea the same. The wooden boards a disaster too, too small, spill disasters were narrowly avoided. Well, the food. There are no substitutions or additions allowed. It says it on the menu. Bold, very bold and brave. I get it. It's a this is our food. Proper belief in the plates. The Turkish eggs. Garlicky yoghurty oh my goodness yummyness. Everything is working in harmony. The chilli oil is just enough, and the dill is adding that aromatic lasting earthy balance. The toast we could have had more was really enough. Mopping up the last drips of egg and yoghurt mix to leave a spotlessly clean plate. The Shakshuka is the same. Jo said it was the best ever, and even asked if we could make it at home! Fara is a real pleasure to eat at. I can see this restaurant/cafe, not sure which, but it will grow and grow. I hope it does. I hope the kitchen team sticks to its guns and doesn't change the winning formula either. It's good, blinking good. Go, taste, and eat. Walk away with a similar smile to mine.

A beautiful, relaxed, friendly and delicious place! Me and my husband came to Glastonbury to do some Christmas shopping and found this little gem on Google maps. So pleased we did! On arrival we received a lovely warm welcome, chose our table and were informed straight away the kitchen serves breakfast at 9 am not a problem as we weren't here to be in and out in a hurry. My flat white and my husband's tea arrived in good time and were wonderful. The music was lovely and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Really nice just to relax and slow down. At 9 am our orders were taken I had the Turkish eggs with extra sourdough and my husband had the full English, breakfast arrived at 9.30 am we were told there would be a wait, not a problem and was well worth the wait. Our breakfasts were beautiful! I'm now a firm believer that garlic yoghurt belongs everything and my husband's breakfast with a Mediterranean twist was delicious...I'll be coming back for that next. You can tell alot of move goes into this small business. Staff were kind, relaxed and gave you space to chill and enjoy to experience. We lift, feeling happy, full, relaxed and will certainly be back. Thank you for looking after us so well.

I live in Cornwall but Fara is my favourite place to eat. Lots of vegan dishes to chose from & the flavours are amazing. Each mouthful is a pleasure & the food is always presented perfectly. Lovely staff & I just wish it was closer to home! Always a highlight of our trips to Glastonbury. Thank you team Fara!!

We're only local but have been wanting to come to Fara for a long time, and it did not disappoint once we finally made it! Fantastic, flavourful food with wonderful service. I had the shakshuka, which was packed with amazing flavours, perfect soft eggs and so satisfying. In fact it was surprisingly filling, so I didn't have any room for the amazing looking cakes. We'll have to go back very soon to sample those. My wife had the full vegan breakfast (pictured), and was similarly impressed.

Absolutely delicious (and beautiful) food, seriously top-notch coffee and charming staff. My partner and I shared the Turkish eggs, patatas bravas and spring veg tartine. Couldn’t fault a thing!

I’m rating FARA five stars though I do have some concerns. Upon entering, the atmosphere was cozy… Too cozy… like, “is this real?” … I was skeptical. I was then greeted by very friendly staff who welcomed me and gave me the rundown of how their menu worked… I looked around this beautifully converted police station and thought, “this can’t be real.” The menu items were creative, hearty, decadent… I wanted one of everything… that’s just not fair! I was starting to feel like i was being had… I was concerned that FARA knew too much and I was being sucked into a full savory Willy Wonka scenario… …We ordered Turkish Eggs, Trout Bagel, and Smashing Peas… I was UPSET! Thanks for ruining All other food on this trip. Now all I wanted was FARA. What is this voodoo… 2 months later… After having gone to FARA almost every day for the last 9 weeks… I can safely say from decades of Glastonbury experience, it’s the best in town. Excellent coffee, inspiring food, comforting atmosphere, epic faces. I’ll let my photos do the rest of the talking. If it’s busy, It’s worth the wait. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
